The Mad Mullah, failing to capture the British Zareba at Somala, retreadted to Welahed,where he encouiterei the main British'force by chance. •The Fourth Camel Corps and the infantry attacked and routed the Mullah's forces and pursued the enemy during the night through the mountains, killing one hundred of- the Mullah's followers. , The British had two killed and five wounded.
