A MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE {By Telegraph—Own Gorresprnrtent.) WAIHI, March 29. A young man named William A. Wallace has been missing since Saturday morning. It appears that ' Wallace, who,is a half-brother of Mr Joseph Tait, left his shanty, where he resides with Tait, as usual at 6.30 a.m. for work at the Union mine. As he left his brother he said, "So-long, I'm off to work." Since then nothing has been seen or heard of him. He did not go to work, nor can any trace of him be found by the police. No reason can be. assigned for his 'disappearance, and the entire affair j is a mystery.
