• At "the Bowling' Green List evening a handicap single mutch was played between Messrs W. Davis and A. Buckland,- Mr Davis had a handicap in his favor of 6 points, Mr Buckland was, however, unable to pull iv, up, and lost by two points., the scores being: Davis 19, Buckland 17. In a scratch match, Trembath Cantley. McCullough, and Burton (skip) scored 17 against Adams, O'Callaghan, Paul and Menzies (skip) 16. Captain Hannan and Mr Etferson played Messrs Bane and Milne, and beat them by 23 to 17.
In the handicap singles (2 bowls each) X, Wood (receives 5) beat W. Price ,(6), the scores being 21—17. W. Bane (5) secured a win from T. J. Mountain (12), the scores being: Bane 27, Mountain 21.
