HAWEBA, February 22.
A lire broke out at midnight in - the centre of the business portion of tho town, but after an hour's work it was got under. The shops of Hannah, and Company, bootmakers, wero slightly damaged by fire; Duxfeld (saddler) also damaged as was-Robinson (plumber) and West' Coast Farmers.' Trailing Assod^. tion mart. Brunell, jeweller, though escaping the firo and water, lost) considl erably, hia shop being broken, open and things removed, some to places of safety; and others in pockets of undesirables.
