SYDNEY, December 29. - At a meeting of Premiers held in Sydney to consider Mr. Chamberlain's request to V keep the South African contingents up to strength,* it w^as stated that Tasmania had started enrolling men. .South Aua. .tralia*replied': "Glad to despatch troops, but nothing will be done till after th« return'of the contingent from Sydney."
