SYDNEY, December 30. The injured men belong to the tenth battery of Royal Field Artillery. Four shots had been fired when Tudor placed the fifth cartridge in the breach and Jupp rammed it home. Before the breech could be closed it exploded, it is supposed in conseqatuce of the operations being carried out too quickly and that some burning fragments were left from the previous shot caused the ignition.
