A Leaking Vessel.

Westpobt, February 20. The four masted schooner Novelty has sailed for 'Frisco with coal. While at the wharf, the vessel was making an inch of water per hour. The crew complained of her leaking on Saturday, and refused to go to sea. The captain, however, increased the wages of the men, and agreed to put in at Wellington or Auckland if necessary, and the men then agreed to proceed.
