Auckland, February 20. The Auckland marksmen for the Elfle Association Championship Meeting left by the s.s. Eotoiti this after-' noon en route to Wanganui, where the meeting opens on Saturday next. The competitors from Auckland include Sergts. Hobbs and Maingay, Oorporals Comes, Woods, and Orr, and Private Hurst.
Whilst boating at Coromandel on Sunday a lad named George Lindsay received severe damage to his leit arm, the result of the bursting of a gun, He was conveyed to the hospital. The doctors fear they cannot save the arm. .■...-.:-
