ARSENIC DISCOVERED.

The inquest on Miss Stoney, who died on June 18th, was resumed to-day The inquiry had been adjourned to obtain Mr Skey's report of the analysis of the contents of the stomach and porridge used on the occasion of the death. The Coroner announced to-day that the analysis had disclosed arsenic, and that therefore the inquiry would be lengthy and searching. No important evidence has yet been taken, but Mr Skey and Detective Neill, who has been here for a fortnight, have yet to be examined.
