The manager reports:—" la my report a fortnight ago I stated -we had cut through the reef in the bottom tunnel and had started driving south | towards the Monowai, Not knowing the distance to the boundary I removed the two men into the upper workings to see what the reef Was like in this place. I. find that there i* a very nice reef existing, which is identical with the reel in the Monowai workings. As soon as we open it up, I will hare some tests made from it lam very pleased with the appearance of the reef, and believe that success will follow if developments are carried out, -W. H.
