The "All Red" Cable Committee has adjourned sine die, pending replies being received from the colonies in reference to the Cape route.
March 25,
In the Commons Mr Chamberlain, replying to a question, said that the St. Paul's and Amsterdam Islands belonged to France. He was not aware that they would be required for the purpose of a Cape-Australian cable. '
