A Grievance..

(To the Editor.) Sir.--I, as well as many others think that it is near time that the Northern Steamship Co. learned to keep to their : advertised time table, and try and study the convenience of the public who give them their dividends. A steamer was advertised to leave Auckland for Thames at 10.30 night on Sunday last, thereby causing a considerable loss of time to those who had to be at the Thames in time for business on Monday. However, in a way, ifc serves the Thames people right, as when an i opposition boat is put on it is not < properly patronised.—l am, &c, i C B. Mo Williams.
