The Queen's Celebrations.
(Per Press Association.) THE NEW ZEALAND SHOOTISTS CHRis.TcnuRCH, March 18. At a meeting of Volunteer officers, Corporal Simpson, of the Kaiapoi Rifles, and Corporal Lester, of the E Battery, with Sergeant Wakelyn, of the Honorary Reserve Corps, as emergency, were selected to represent North Canterbury District in the pro posed team for the Bisley meeting. London, March 18. Ihe Duke of Connaught will preside at a banquet to be given by members of the Colonial Institute on July 22nd to Premiers and military officers attending the Queen's celebrations.
