A NOVEL SUGGESTION. (Per Press Association.) Brisbane, March 18. Mr Wragge makes a daring suggestion to establish a permanent observatory iuSyictoria Land in the Antarctic region and connect it by cable with Australia. He says though tho ex* pouse would be heavy the advantages to agricultural interests and shipping by the data thus obtained would amply repay the cost.
