The following telegram has been received from Mr A. Kummert, manager of the Inca mine at Whangamata :— " Struck Luck at Last reef in Inca ; driven six feet into it; not yet tli rough; sending stone by steamer." NEW ZEALAND CEOWN MINES For the month of February 1161 tons of ore were treated at the Crown Mines for a yield of bullion valued at £2873. KAISER. A trial parcel of 16cwt of ore Irorn the reef in the Kaiser mine has been treated at Fraser and Sons for a return of 2oz 4dwt 16grs of gold valued at <£6 7s lOd. This is at the rate of £7 19s Sfd per ton.
