The B.N.Z. and the Shops' Act.
Napier, March 15,
Mr Turnbull, S.M., this morning delivered judgment in the case of the Inspector of Factories v. the Bank of Zealand for breach of the Shop and Shop Assistants Act. He was quite satisfied work was being done which •was in connection with the business of the Bauk and imposed a fine of 5« for each employee or £2 5s in all. The charge of obsfr ucting the Inspector in the discharge of his duty was withdrawn.
