MANAGERS' REPORTS.
KAISER,
The manager reports :—" In the drive westward upon the course of the new reef we passed through a break, which had the effect of placing the lode in a disturbed condition since. A small leader has made its appearance in the drive, and the whole of the ore showing is now highly mineralised. It is very similar in appearance to the mineral that used to produce such good results in the old Sylvia. We have commenced to extend Paull's drive upon the course of a reef which appears to be identical with the easterly continuation of our new reef. TJpon pounding we can get a color in the dish. I hope to be able to get our quartz down in the course of a day or so.—W. Martin."
