The Floods on the West Coast.

(Per Press Association.)

Wesitort, March 11. The heavy rain that fell on Monday and yesterday brought down a big flood, and the river was running nearly bank*high at Addison's flat. Great damage was done, the injury to the Shamrock claim alone being estimated at £1500, and other claims are damaged to the extent of £1500. Two bridges on the road to Charleston have been washed away.

No news has been received from up country, but it is expected the roads will have suffered.
