A Clergyman's Sudden Death.
Christchtjbch, March 9. The Rev. P. D. Monroe, Presbyterian clergyman, and one of the leaders of the prohibition party, drop- I ped dead this morning while out cycling with the Rev. L. M. Isitt. Deceased had just dismounted for the purpose of blowing tip the tyie when he complained of feeling unwell and immediately expired, He was about proceeding to Dunedin to assume the editorship of the '* Christian Outlook." IHe had been stationed at Rangiora for six years, lie leaves * wife and three children. The supposed cause of death is heart disease.
