MANAGERS' REPORTS.

The manager reports as follows :— <' Sinking the winze l^as been continued, and the reef is not so large as it has been, it being now about 3 feet wide, so we are now taking all the reef with us now in the winae. The contractors will commence on their contract on Sundiy night, The reef is still charged with different classes of minerals. The depth of the winze is now 48 feet. The drive has been extended aud the reef is much the same us last reported, it being a well defined reef. The reef is heavily charged with dark minerals, and in a good class of country; a country in which I think anyone might expect to gat gold iv at any time.
