The Federal Election.
(Per Press Association.)
Adelaide, March 7
A peculiar hitch has arisen in connection with the federal elections. It has been discovered that the returns in small,.out-of-the-way polling place 3 in the far north, cannot reach Adelaide till five days after the date of the meeting of the Convention. There is not time to call a special session of Parliament to deal with the matter, and unless arrangements are made to ignore the return, or otherwise overcome the difficulty, the Convention will have to bo postponed. The Cabinet will consider the matter.
