Mr Kingston, the Premier, denies that he has made definite arrangements to visit England. He says that if he consulted his own inclination, he would not hesitate to accept, but recent events make it most difficult to be guided solely by such considerations.
Dunedin, March 8
The Otago Hussars have selected Sergt. Allan, and Troopers Freeman, Grieve, and W. Hazett to form part of the English contingent leaving Wellington on Friday.
