Electricity, which has arich a marvellous sway in this world, ma^es one think that before long everything will be done by this wonderful power. Mr J. E. Hansen, Shortland, Thames,, has just imported from America the 'wonder of wonderfc'in the form of a compound callad Electrine. This is one of the latest and most marvellous inventions of the nineteenth century. It is an instantaneous silver and plate cleaner, and will resilver all kinds of brass spoons, forks, cruets, mustard jpot«^pepper pots,- harness chains, bicycles, bag handles, watches, rings •ad, in fact, any kind of brass and copper, wire. Being manufactured by W. Edison tahould be a sufficient guarantee of its quality rand value, and it ought to prove a great boon to housewives.
