Ovide Musin Concert Company.

This company will arrive at the Thames early to-morow morning from Auckland, where they have achieved such wonderful success during the present week. On Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday the City Hall was crowded, and so great was the desire for another concert that an extra performance is promised for to-night. The company leaves at midnight, and will arrive as above. By reference to our advertising columns, an idea may be obtained of the excellence of the programme arranged for to-morrow night. The great violinist's playing of the Austrian hymn is described by the Lyttelton Times as being a magnificent display of thorough control over the instrument, and the same journal is of opinion that sucL playing has never been heard before in Canterbury. By special request M. Musin gave this item at his concert in Auckland on

Monday last, and needless to say the large and enthusiastic audience vociferously encored it. Madame Musin has been no less successful whereever she has sung, the solos which are opposite her name for tomorrow night, the florid air and variations by Proch "being exactly suited to her voice, the runs and trills being taken with astonishing ease. In addition to the above, Madame Musin will take the soprano part in the great "Aye Maria" of BachGounod, which is an especial favorite in moat parts of the world. Miss Hatherly, the queen of harpists, has delighted the Auckland people with i her dainty grace of playing. She is a pupil of the great Oherthiir, and is the holder of silver and bronze medals for harp-playing. Thames people are bound to be enchanted with her. Herr Scharf has also won encores every time he has played in Auckland, and as has been already pointed out, his solos are revelations in the matter of piano playing. A goodly number of seats I nave been reserved, and all confidently predict a crowded house to say farewell to this most distinguished company of artists. Popular prices are I being charged, viz.: 3s, 2s, and Is, and we would advise all those who have not booked their seats to do so at ' once.
