Women's Temperance Convention.

At the Women's Christian Temperance Convention this morning the recommendations and resolutions of the Committee having been read and adopted, the New Zealand officers were elected as follows: President, Mrs Schnackenburg (Auckland; j Corresponding Secretary, Miss Powell (Paltnerston North) ; Recording Secre tary, Miss L. M. Kirk (Wellington). The appointment of Treasurer was left to the Executive. Superintendents of the departments were then appointed.
