■ AUSTRALIANS V. NOTTINGHAM London, June 25. Notts scored 260, the other princip il scorers being-—Attowell 2-1, Wright 46, Dixon 28, Pike (not out) 41, Gutteridge 16, Bennett 17. ; Giffen secured 4 wickets for 92, Truioble 3 for 69, Eady 1 for 34. The batting of the Couaty men was excellent all round. Shrewsbury and Jones put on 52 for the first wickei, and Jones and Gunn 56 for the second, while Pike and Bennett gave a lei of trouble at the finish, increasing the score by 36 before the last wicket fell. I June 26. I The weather to-day is fine and the wicket in good condition. The Australians have lost five wickets for 190, Darling (44) and Graham (96) being the highest scorers.
