AN IMPORTANT DECISION.

Melbourne, Last night.
The Supreme Court has jufet given en important derision regarding the artilleryman, who, when the usual allowance of •ix rconfcW pay was granted him, claimed an additional allowance, and sued the Crown for the balance. The Crown took objection that under " The Discipline Act' the plaintiff had no civil rit>ht<», and coald not make a claim a£a:nst the QueeD. The Chief Justice said he was compelled to uphold the objection ani gave a verdict for the Crown.
