No. 4 lode : This lead is looking better again, and has produced from 15 to 201bs of good picked stone for. the week. A commencement will be made this week to drive westward on its course. On the face of the drive at present tho lead is very small, bat may open out before any great distance is driven. All Nations lead : The western .drive is still at a standstill, the men being en* gaged stoping out the block over tho crosscut. There is a small vein of quarts on the hang ing wall of the main lead here, carrying some nice gold, from which a few pounds of picked stone have been got. 100 foot level: There is no change worthy of mention in the eastern drive on the Reuben Parr reef. Point Russell level: The stopes on the Golden Age footwall leads are supplying about the usual quantity of crushing material, but it has hardly been up to the average grade, on account of the absence of picked stone. The winze on the Dawn of Hope lead below tbe intermediate level has reached the hanging* wall of the big lode, but unfortunately there is a seam of clay on the back of the latter, which prevents a junction which would hare been likely to have mads gold* Amalgam for the week, 54ozs.—Gh 3.
