ORANGE BLOSSOMS.

Yesterday afternoon a large number of people assembled in the Tararu Presbyterian Sunday School to witness one of those interesting ceremonies of which there have been not a few c-lebrated on the Thames lately. The contracting parties w»i*e Miss Agnes I. Brady, of Tararu, and Mr Robert Webb, of Mercury Bay, The bride, attired in a dark brown travelling dress of check tweed, with a cape of the same material, and wearing a brown velvet liat relieved with green trimmings, looked exceedingly nice; She was • attended by her sister, Miss Annie Brady, and her cousin, Miss Addie Hansen, of Grahamstown. Both bridesmaids —each of whom carried a basket of white flowers —wore crimson cashmere t dresses with sashes of shot silk, and fawn hats trimmed with shot siik to match. Mr Peter Brady was " best man," and the bride was given away by her brother, Mr John Brady. Ihe ceremony was performed by the Key. Mr Ross, who is at present temporarily supplying the pulpit at St James' Church, and as the party left the Church Miss Nellie Wilson played Mendelsohn's " Wedding V arch." As Miss Brady had been for many years associated with the lararu Sunday School—first as a scholar, and then for some 8 years as a teacher—her fellow teachers neatly and effectively decorated the build:ng, an arch of feras and " toe-toe " being a conspicuous and successful feature. Last Sunday week they presented her with a clock cased in nickled silver, and a pretty E.P. butter knife, together with a letter expressing their appreciation of her past services, and their hearty good wishes for her future

happiness and prosperity. Also the girls of her class showed their love for their teacher by giving her a very neat EP. breakfast cruet with cut glass bottles. Among other numerous, useful, and costly presents must be mentioned a very handsome rochesterlam])and/butter dish given by her fellow employees at 'Mr Hetherington's.
