Only the Agents-General of New Zealand and Queensland co-operate with the Agent-General of Victoria in urging a Joint Commission to consider tbe construction of the Pacific Cable. The Agents-General of South Australia, New South Wales, Tasmania, and Western Australia do not on behalf' of their respective Governments approve of the proposal.
