THE WAIHI COMPANY.
ANOTHER LARGE ENTERPRISE
For some time past the directors of the Waihi company in London have had under consideration a project for floating off a section of their big area at Waihi, under a separate company, and pushing on another large enterprise for prospecting and developing what is known as the Union section of their ground, as well as a reef known as the Amaranth. The area to be set apart for this new enterprise is a large one, comprising more than 300 acres, and all hough a subsidiary company is to be floated for the purpose of providing the requisite capital, a large proponien of the shares will in all probability tie offered to the present Waihi shareholder?. A shaft will be sunk in the new ground, and will be ustd to open up some well known reef?.
