The athletic sports meeting to be held at Parawai in celebration of the anniversary of the Thames Miners' Union promises to be a success, and the entries, which close to-morrow eren* ing for the principal events, are expeetel to be numerous. At 11 a.m. next Monday Mr MoGregor will offer the privileges for public competition, vis. • the gates one publican's booth, three refre3hmenfc booths, and cards of the races.
