A DENIAL.
(To the Editor of the Thames Stah.) Sir,—As there is a rumor about, and a very strong one too, that I collected prizes on behalf of the Miners' Union, and ant twin* the same for the prizes for the Thames Naval Band excursion, I wish to give the above a Sat denial, and defy contradiction of the above statement throotb. the Press.
