The rerenne-returns do oot contain the receipts of the last weeks of the year, which is owing to the closing of the Banks The Treasury is quite satisfied - with the figures, and the estimate is expected to bo more than reached. The Customs aro well ahead, and the railway revenue, which hi'.herto Has been deficient, is now only £20,000 behind, aod the nest three months are expected to easily make up tho arrrars, es they are very busy ones for tho Kailwey Department.
