Relative to the La Monte gold saving apparatus a deputation of members consisting of Messrs Hurst, Fraser, Peacock, Moss, and Mitchelson M's.H.R., waited on the Minister of Mines to-day. Mr Larnach agreed to give a bonus of £1000, after the machinery was put up and tested for twelve months, and produced the results represented.
