HAWERA.
Last night. The result of ths post-mortem and inquest is that Moore, the chemist, died from heart disease. John Douglas has been committed for trial at the next sitting of the Supreme Court at New Plymouth for attempting to kill his wife. He is supposed to have been under the influence of drink, which has a maddening effect upon him. He also made desperate attempts to commit suicide far cutting .his throat, but the knife being blunt the cuts are slight.
