AUCKLAND.
Last night.
The Auckland United Laborers Aid Society hare taken up the question of contractors excayating by let-els as enforced in England owing to the death of Boyle at Fort Britomart. At tbe inquest on the body of Boyle the Terdict was " Accidental death," with a rider tfcat the Government take steps to see that excavations are properly and safely conducted.
