This claim is the old British fqaiet Hape Creek, which in the early days wa» worked,very successfully. The shareholders are now excavating a chamber at
the end of a 300 feet drive 40 feet below the old run of gold, and expect to be on the lode shortly. When it is out they will either sink or rise on it. The leader above averaged about one foot through and was worth 2f ozs per ton.
