COKOMANDEL
Wednesday.
The Royal Oak struck rich stuff in No. 1 leader—so it is reported from the mine, with hopes of improvement next stoping. .The winze is down 18 feet, with stringers crossing, and they expect something when they junction.
The Tokatea will likely finish crushing at both batteries to-morrow. Over 2 ozs per ton is expected from the general stuff.
Union Beach.—Nothing new reported to-day.
The City of Auckland expect to start crushing next week.
The Waikoromiko tramway has been taken over by the Government Inspector, and will be open for traffic about Tuesday next.
Cabbage Bay.—2o tonß of stuff got to the beach. The company propose chartering Favorite schooner to bring it here to the battery.
