MOANATAIRI.
Operations at the battery were suspended for a few hours, owing to breaking one of the main pipes from reservoir to boilers. This mishap arose when tapping for the purpose of connecting service pipe, in order to comply with the stipula tions that three standpipes be erected for public benefit on the Tararu road. The mill has started again on their own stuff, and five head for the Long Drive.
