COROMANDEL._ This day. The Tokatea manager's report sp aks hopefully. From the Van level about 80 lbs of specimens hare been trot during the week and a fair show of gold in other par's of the mine. The crushing is look-" ing up well. Royal Oak.— Nothing very important from the mine during the week. A little gold seen in the stone in the wicze now going down. Union Beach.—Nothing from the mine to-day, although a good show of gold is reported in the face of the lode in the Black reef. The late Last Resort, next the Union Beach, was formed into a company today—Mr Mowbray, of Auckland, legal manager. j Major Keddell left yesterday for the Thames, to do duty for Captain Fraser while at Wellington.
