COROMANDEL
This day. The Union Beach got a small quantity of good stone from the winze last night.
The Bismarck secured a parcel of picked stone from the stope. The general stuff is continuing to show gold freely.
Golconda.—The show on the plates continues to look payable.
City of Auckland.'—Little gold seen occasionally in 'he leader. No specimens got of late, but about 100 tons of general stuff grassed. :
Tokatea.—A little good stone got from the stopes in the Siege level; over 120 lbs of specimens in hand. The leader in the Van level is strong, and showing gold. There are over 140 tons of stuff in the paddock. Royal Oak.—The manager reports a little gold from the~stopes. Prospecting the old workings of the [ground is worth trying. * Ileenan's claim crushing is looking well.
In the R.M.s Court, in the case Houston versus Davies, in which he sued for interest on bills, a verdict for plaintiff was given.
