The manager reports having cut through the reef and finds it is about two feet thick. He has made a paddock arid is saving the quartz, as there is.a Jit tie, gold in it and also in the casing. The drive is in fifty feet, and this gives about fifty feet of backs for stoping and four hundred feet along the line of reef.
