FIRE BRIGADE.
To the Editor of. the Evening Star.
Sißy^l notice iirlast night's Star a! letter signed "Library," suggesting that: the committee who controlled the Fire! Brigade's, finanqes before the Borough Council took over charge iliould render an account of their stewardship. If not; premature, may I suggest to " Library " to give the names of the Finance Committee, and then we may form an opinion as to whetheran account may be expected. Ifc: is said that there is a considerable balance in the hands of the committee. If so, it would be most acceptable just now towards Raising the Hoof.
