OLD WHAU.
At the Moanatairi battery yesterday, the specimens from the Old Whau were treated^- and yielded handsomely, 70 oz«. 10-dwts; of gold being obtained from 60 lbs. of stone. This amount will form a considerable addition to the general yield and mako it eminently satisfactory.
