From this claim'situated at Puriri, and in which Mr Manukau Cook is interested, a parcel of a ton of stone has been put through the Tramway battery, and yielded 2 ozs. 8 dwts. 10 .grs. of gold, a return somewhat smaller than that expected by the spirited prospectors.
