DISBANDING OF WEHRMACHT
Soviet Allegations LONDON, Dec. 23. Welcoming the British decision to disband Wehrmacht personnel in the British zone of Germany, the Moscow radio commentator, Leo Volynsky, alleged that it proved that Russian allegations were true. "A telling blow has been dealt to professional liars who vainly attempted to sow doubt concerning Russian reports about large Hitlerite armed units in the British zone,” he said. “This fact is now officially recognised ’’ The commentator said the disbandment was a real step toward ensuring that Germany could never again wage a war of aggression. He hoped the Nazis who had taken refuge in Hamburg and elsewhere would be “shown their nieces.”
