Carrying Auckland cargo, the Waiana cleared for Lyttelton at 10 a.m. yes-
terday. She had been loading at "the south side of No. 3 wharf. The corvette, Arabis, berthed at the north side of No. 2 wharf at 7 a.m. on her arrrival from Lyttelton. She will be here until Monday morning, when she proceeds to Oamaru. At No. 1 wharf the Ilissos is loading wool, tallow, seeds and general cargo for the United Kingdom She is expected to sail about Monday for a British port direct via Cape Horn. She is expected to sail again this evening, proceeding to Wellington direct. Due on November 6 from Dunedin, the Holmburn will load for Wellington direct.
The V> f aipiata, sailing from Auckland on November 7, will call at the usual southern ports before calling at Timaru. She will berth here early In the month, loading general cargo for Auckland direct.
Sailing from Wellington on November 10 for Dunedin and Oamaru. the Wainui will load cargo for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne, at the port of Timaru early in the month. The Samstrae is still listed to arrive here on November 10 from Melbourne. Timaru will be her only Dominion port of call and she will take a large consignment of wool and seeds for the United Kingdom, sailing via Cape Horn.
