The secretary read a list of names of men and women entertained since the outbreak of the war, the total being 119. Forty-three men and one woman had yet to return. A vote of thanks was passed to Mr H. Annan for a gift of two trays to be disposed of in aid of the patriotic fund. The weather cleared on Wednesday night, and a frost of 131 degrees was recorded on Thursday.
