(7.45 p.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. *4. Brought from New Zealand to contest the Caulfield Cup Royal Flight was an interesting galloper at Victoria Park to-day.
Ridden by A. E. Didham, Royal Flight worked in company with Immediate over the last five furlongs of a mile in Imin 8-lsec easily. Royal Flight is to carry 8.7 in the Caulfield Cup. Engagements of visiting New Zealand horses on Saturday, the final day of the A.J.C. Spring Meeting, are: Immediate in the Craven Plate 10 furlongs, weight-for-age, and High Play, top-weight 9.8 in the Final Handicap. Stenelaus has accepted for the Melbourne Stakes at Flemington on Saturday. He has 8.9. Amana Counsel and Lawrence head the weights in this race with 9.8.
